“Novaturas” – Authorised Ticket Reseller (ATR) for Tokyo Olympic games

This week the Lithuanian National Olympic Committee (LNOC) and tour operator “Novaturas” has signed agreement, having become an official Olympic carrier of the Lithuanian delegation and fans. 

The organizing committee of the Olympic Games entrusts the distribution of tickets to the national Olympic committees. The latter can distribute tickets themselves or possess a partner and distribute tickets only to the citizens of the country. The National Olympic Committee of Lithuania has been using the partnership of the distribution of tickets since Athens Olympics. “Novaturas” is going to carry to the most important competition of the world for the second time.

“It is important to have a reliable partner. In Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games “Novaturas” proved that it is a reliable, modern, innovative organization, taking care of the delegation and fans. We are further at the negotiation table, both parties are interested in as many our fans visiting Japan as possible and returning from there with good emotions,” – says the President of the National Olympic Committee of Lithuania Daina Gudzineviciute.

Agreement, validating tripartite cooperation, has been sent to the organizing committee of Tokyo Olympics. Tickets will appear in market in the summer of 2019.

The status of the distributor of tickets provided to us by the agreement signed is a significant evaluation and great responsibility as well. Taking care of the smooth organization of the delegation of the Olympic Games and the fans of the Olympic Games, as well as the smooth process of the acquiring of tickets is a challenge, which we take up with satisfaction for already the second Summer Olympic Games.  We are pleased with the trust shown to us and are further continuing preparation tasks which have been started”, – says the Director General of “Novaturas” Linas Aldonis.
